Pathway to Glory and Pathway to Glory Ikusa Islands are the first games I've played that give me console quality graphics and game play IN THE PALM OF MY HAND! The environments are beautiful and the detail is shocking, from the accents of the multi-national friendly soldiers, the actual language of the enemies, the variety of weapons, the lush environments, sound effects, music and the spot on military tactics. The "news reel" like cinematic picture transitions between battles are gorgeous and do a great job of not only accurately portraying history but act to keep your interest and frame the upcoming battles. The multiplayer capability is icing on the cake. Not only can you play up to 5 other people but you can also send them text or voice messages while in the midst of game play. How's that for cutting edge?
